About Us
Warren Property, LLC began with Grandma's House in 2007 as an alternative to the usual long-term rental. After two generations as a rental property, the house was transformed by Jack and Mary into one of the nicest places to stay in Sedan, Kansas. Guests have come from as far away as New York, Virginia, and San Diego. As a result of increasing booking requests and to maintain another family-owned property, Grandpa's House was opened in 2011. Quality standards of cleanliness and comfort were followed in this location as well. Guests only need their suitcases--everything else is provided. All of our homes have central heat & air and off-street parking.
Grandma's House
Once owned by Gladys Cummings, Mary's grandmother. Grandma's House hosted a lifetime of family dinners and afternoons listening to Grandma's stories of her younger days.
As a young woman, Grandma played piano for the silent movies in the local theater. Later in life, she was a stay-at-home wife. Her husband, Harry, was a wheat harvester and traveled through several states as a contract combine operator.
Grandma always pressed her pillowcases and kept a clean house. These standards are maintained in the Grandma's House of today. When our guests enter the house, they can smell fresh apple pie, one of Grandma's best desserts. The framed needlework were products of her teaching Mary how to sew.
Grandma's is a three bedroom cottage with two queen bedrooms, and a third bedroom with twin beds. Amenities include onsite computer, Wifi, Satellite TV, washer & dryer, fully-equipt kitchen, coffee, snacks, and guest soaps.
Lorene's
Lorene's was purchased in 2020, replacing Grandpa's House which was sold later Lorene's is a farmhouse cottage at 409 N. Montgomery and features all the usual amenities. Two queens and a daybed twin accommodate up to five people. The house was named after our longtime neighbor, Lorene Runyon. She loved to sit on the spacious front porch and visit with people walking by.
